Business Policies
Your Session
Please schedule enough time out of your day for your session. If you are running late, please contact me by phone. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, this will be treated as a no show and your retainer fee will be forfeited. Upon rescheduling, the full amount will be due prior to rebooking. If you are late with a phone call, that time will be deducted from your scheduled session.
Business Hours
Hours are Tuesday - Friday from 10am - 3pm and Saturdays from 10:00am - 6:00pm. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Phone calls are not answered during a photoshoot. The best way to reach me is through messaging. You may reach my by the contact form on my website or email me at Jennifer@jpixphoto.com.
Recording Devices
Please do not bring your own camera, camcorder or any other recording device. If this situation occurs, the photographer reserves the right to terminate the session forfeiting the retainer fee.
Cancellations/Rescheduling
If the need arises to cancel your appointment, please do so 48 hours prior to your session. If anyone in your family is feeling ill, please reschedule.
Reshoots
Reshoots are offered at the discretion of the photographer. Reshoots are not offered for unfortunate personal choices such as hair, clothing, or going against the time/location recommendation of the photographer.
Discounts/Promotions
Special promotions are run from time to time. These are for a limited time only or to a specific special edition photoshoot. The photographer is under no obligation to extend the promotion or match the offer past expiration date.
Retouching
All images receive basic retouching. Anything permanent will not be removed unless requested to do so. Tattoos, birthmarks, braces ect.
Copyright
Copyright for all images is the sole property of Jpix Photography and protected by Federal Copyright Law. It is therefore illegal to copy, scan, or reproduce these images in any way without written permission from the photographer. Doing so may result in fines up to $150,000.
Usage Rights
The photographer has the exclusive right to make reproductions. The photographer shall only make reproductions for the client or for use in the photographers' portfolio, advertising, samples, website and display within or outside their studio. the photographer also has the right to enter these images into photographic competitions, art exhibitions or publications. No identifying names will be given in connection with usage of any image. I understand sometimes there are circumstances where yo may wish for your images not to be used for any of the purposed. Please notify the photographer of this case. No fees, royalties or payment of any kind will be owed in connection with any usage make of an image or created by Jpix photography.
Waiver Of Liability
If the photographer cannot fulfill the terms stated in the portrait agreement, due to causes beyond the control of the parties involved, the client shall have no further liability in respect to he agreement. In the event that photographic materials are lost or damaged, without fault on the part of either party, the limitation will also apply. In such cases, Jpix photography is not liable. The client releases Jpix Photography and its employees, from all liabilities, claims and damages that may result from any accidents or incidents that may happen during the session except to the extent that the accidental or incident is the direct cause of the photographer's willful and careless conduct.
Online Gallery
Approximately 2-4 weeks after your session your proofs will become available for you to view in an online, personal, password protected gallery. You will be able to pass on the gallery information to family and friends so they may place their own orders. Please remember that is is a violation of Federal Copyright Law to copy, save or print the images within the gallery that have not been purchased. The online gallery will be available for 30 days. Once your gallery has expired there will be a $40 reloading fee.
Artistic Selection
Each image the photographer takes is put through a careful selection process after the photoshoot. You will see only the images that meet the high standards of the photographer. Images with eyes closed, unflattering poses, and duplicates are removed and permanently removed. Access to images that didn't make the selection will not be granted.
Ordering
Full payment is due at the time of ordering. Orders paid for by check will not be placed until the check has cleared. Each image is printed to order and cannot be changed or canceled after payment has been made. All sales are final. Please allow 7-10 business day for delivery.
Print & Products Prices
Prices are subject to change at any time. The prices in effect at the time of your session will be valid for 30 days after your session.
Payment
No images will be delivered until full payment has been made.
Archiving
All images are kept for one year in onsite storage. After one year they will be removed to off site storage. A $40 fee will be required to retrieve.
